OVERVIEW

From a single-product manufacturing unit, we have grown to become integrated steel company. Our state-of-the-art facilities, qualified workforce, comprehensive product portfolio and sound management practices have established us as a trusted partner in India’s development as a progressive industrial economy.

MSP Sponge Iron Limited (MSPSIL) was incorporated on 16th July 1999. The Company commenced operation of its Sponge Iron Plant in the year 2000 at Keonjhar in Odisha. Subsequently, set-up a Rolling Mill and Steel Melting Shop in 2001 at the same location. Testing success in the manufacturing of Sponge Iron, Ingots and TMT bars, the Company set up a new factory at Raigarh in Chhattisgarh by commencing operation of two Ferro Alloy units of 7.5 MVA each along with 12 MW Captive Power plant in the year 2006 & 2007 respectively.

In the year 2013, MSPSIL expanded its operations by commissioning its 0.60 million TPA Pellet plant in Keonjhar. In the year 2014 the Company also commenced operation of 1.00 mllion TPA Iron Ore Beneficiation plant at its Keonjhar plant and 9.00 MVA Ferro Alloy unit at its Raigarh plant.
